I'm mostly a gameplay guy and it just wasn't really fun to me, and I HIGHLY doubt that this game will do any better.Immerse yourself in a post-apocalyptic world. Sure doing a sidequest or taking out some "outpost" of enemies is fun for the first 20-30 times, but after that it starts getting stale, especially when you find a gun that's so good that you can use it 5+ levels later and still kill everyone with it effortlessly. (which was a good game btw) I think cyberpunk was pretty boring/bland, and the problem wasn't even that it had bugs (I never encountered any game-breaking ones) but that the game just wasn't fun. This clearly isn't going to be comparable to Cyberpunk. What its 4 people making this game? Set your expectations right. Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout. I think your own expectation is whats throwing you off. Exekiller is an upcoming game developed by Paradark, and it's an open-world shooter with a Western-Cyberpunk setting and some post-apocalyptic themes. For being a debut title by seemingly only one (or two?) people what's being promised (well, showcased and explained) is WAAAAAAAAY out of their range. Usually when trailers are put out its to showcase the most interesting and a few cool mechanics the game has to offer, but the trailer didn't really show anything, i'd even argue it just looked very choppy and bad at times. We can confirm ExeKiller will be Immersive Sim we are aiming for gameplay similar to new Deus Ex Yess. Just check their reddit account and how they're spamming different pages to raise attention for this when they have no actual self-made material to show off. Time for "mostly negative" reviews 3 hours after release and then the devs disappearing into nothingness.
